The 12-Step Within Committee of the World Service Business Conference is working on developing a list of speakers who are willing to travel outside of their normal meeting area to speak at meetings, marathons, workshops, or retreats. The list is intended to provide meetings and event planners with a resource they can use to help get new meetings off to a good start, inject new life into a struggling meeting, or simply bring a fresh perspective to existing meetings. While the name may imply that the list is aimed at getting speakers who have experience with relapse recovery, it is really for everybody who is willing to carry the message to the still struggling compulsive overeater.
